TONIGHT, Friday November 14, Flicks in the Sticks present the darkly comic thriller Calvary (15).

Homemade ice cream, wine and nibbles will be available on the night. Entrance is £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

Tomorrow, Saturday, November 15, Bosbury’s regular Farmers’ Market and Coffee Morning will be held, between 10.30am and noon, at Bosbury Parish Hall. All the regular suppliers, offering lamb, pork and beef, seasonal vegetables, eggs, homemade preserves, cakes, bread, cheese and Liqueurs will be there. Fairtrade groceries and gifts, Phoenix cards, individual craft cards and bird food will also be on sale. Fairtrade coffee or tea, with a biscuit is £1. Entry is free.

On Sunday, November 16, Children’s Church will be held at 10am at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury. All are welcome

Rehearsals are going well for the Bosbury Players next production – The Mikado by W.S.Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan. Performances will be at Bosbury Parish Hall, at 7.30pm each evening, from Wednesday, December 3 to Saturday, December 6. Tickets at £10 each, £5 for under 16’s, are available from Gill Andrews (01531 640410), Bosbury Barbers, John Goodwin, Estate Agents, Colwall and The Village Shop, Alfrick.

If you wish to remember a loved one during this Christmas Season, sponsor a light in their memory. A tree of lights will be lit in front of the Parish Hall at 6pm on December 7. Following the lighting, you can share a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie in the Parish Hall and join in some carol singing.
