TONIGHT is the great Wellington Heath Halloween Party!

If you’ve not already booked, please phone Karen on 01531 637316 or Natalie on 632431, adults £2.50 and children £1.50. All are invited to the Memorial Hall for an evening of fun and games. The programme includes kids fun from 7pm-8pm, hotdogs at 8pm, fancy dress, pumpkin-carving, and best-decorated Halloween cake.

The Sunday service at Christ Church is at 9.30am as usual. If you have contributions toward the Food Bank, please feel free to pop into the church and put them in the box by the door: all items are gratefully received. Please diarise Saturday, December 6, 10am–noon, for Rudolph's Christmas Fayre, the church’s fund-raising event.

November 27, 28 and 29: keep these dates free for this year’s village pantomime as WHADS proudly present their version of the Great British Bake-Off: Hansel & Gretel: Half-Baked. Phone 01531 630005 for more information.

New rumours are that the resurfacing of The Common is now scheduled to take place on the November 26 and 27. Let’s wait and see.

And finally, a big thank you to those who give of their time and effort to keep the public areas of the village looking neat and cared for. This includes the Memorial Hall garden, the cemetery, the walking paths, Pool Piece and the road verges.
