A PUB quiz league is being set up in the Malvern area to boost funds for the charity Help for Heroes.
The quizzes – to be held on the first Thursday of every month - will be launched on December 4 at the Bluebell Inn, Guarlford.
Tim Kidwell, Malvern area organiser for the charity that provides long term support for servicemen and women who have suffered life changing injuries, said: "Sarah Cuddy, the manager of the Bluebell, has offered to host Help for Heroes pub team quiz evenings for teams of up to two to five people. We hope to attract enough so teams can form a league and move up or down a ladder every month. There will be a special prize for the league leader every six months. We want to organise a raffle too. The people of Malvern have been extremely supportive of our charity and I am sure they will continue to help us raise funds.”
