WE have enjoyed two successful events in the past week and raised further funds towards the repair of the roof.
Many thanks to all who attended the Bridge Drive, raising £345 and also to the Appleyard Ceilidh Band and caller Chris Mulvey who led the dancing in a packed hall on Saturday.
It’s not too late to get tickets for the final events for October.
Saturday, October 25 7.30pm concert with the well known Arrow Valley Brass in Holy Trinity Church. Tickets £10 (students £5) including light refreshments.
Poetry Please; an opportunity to enjoy the favourite poems of others and share your own, Sunday, October 26 2pm-4pm in Holy Trinity Lower Parish Hall. Tickets £6.50 including light refreshments.
