WE had a very busy Harvest weekend and were delighted that our donations will be ,once more ,put to such good use the Food Bank .

It made it a special occasion that 50 of us, along with our friends from Lansdowne Methodists, were able to celebrate and share a Harvest lunch afterwards. As we ate at our tables we can give thanks that we will bring food to another table here in Malvern via the Food Bank.

As we look forward to Christmas we are excited about our Shoe Box Appeal. As for many years now each Friday in November you will be able to drop off your filled shoe boxes with us between 10am and noon .

Following the success of our Shoe Box workshop last year we have decided to hold a Boxes and Books Morning on Saturday, November 1 from 10am to noon and combine a fun morning of filling boxes and browsing books, something to suit everyone, and, of course there will be coffee and home made cakes. Do join us, the families who came last year had so much fun, we will have our resident shoe boxes covering expert again! Bring along any contents you have and your boxes if you have them. The joy a simple box of crayons, pencils, pencil cases, soaps and toothbrush and paste, balls, small toys and soft toys , yo-yos etc can bring is untold. Light up a child’s face in a country far away.

On Sunday, November 2 we hold our annual All Souls Service where we have a quiet moment to reflect on the loved ones we have lost this year and in past years. It is a beautiful candle lit service we would like you to join us at 4pm. Any queries please ring 07756 722 426.
