For the October meeting members welcomed Tony Lawrence as speaker.
He gave a very informative presentation on the work of the Acorns Hospice charity. Several members work in the local Acorns shop but it was interesting to hear about other voluntary work with the charity.
Also at the meeting members had some glamorous models dressed in a range of twentieth century attire. They were actually some members who had attended the WI centenary baton relay as it passed through Great Malvern.
The speaker at the next meeting will be Paddy Hannigan. This will be on November 6 at 7.30pm at St Andrew's Church Hall.
