Welland Art and Crafts Group welcomed local artist Antony Leahy to their October meeting to tell them all about his life in art.
This began at a young age when he was given his first pencils followed later by the gift of a paintbox, his parents obviously saw that he had artistic talents and encouraged him.
After art lessons and tuition at Art College his working life led him to work with metal, glass and pottery as well as paper - a true artist whose paintings we all enjoy.
The next meeting of the Group is a practical evening on Friday, November 14 at 7.30pm in Welland Parish Hall when tickets will be available for the Christmas Party.
