TONIGHT, Friday, October 17, at the Parish Hall, Flicks in the Sticks presents Gravity (12A), a spacewalk thriller starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.
Tickets are £5 for adults, £3 for children. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. Homemade ice cream, wine and nibbles will be available.
Tomorrow, Saturday, October 18, Bosbury’s regular Farmers’ Market and Coffee Morning will be held, between 10.30am and noon, at Bosbury Parish Hall. All the regular suppliers, offering lamb, pork and beef, seasonal vegetables, eggs, homemade preserves, cakes, bread, cheese and Liqueurs will be there. Fairtrade groceries and gifts, Phoenix cards, individual craft cards and bird food will also be on sale. Fairtrade coffee or tea, with a biscuit is £1. Entry is free.
On Sunday, October 19, Children’s Church, a relaxed act of worship with singing, Bible stories, activities and prayers for all ages, will be held at 10am at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury. All are welcome.
