PEOPLE all over the world read the same scripture in Romans 8:28 to 39 “In all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose …… nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord”.
However, the words in the middle of that paragraph, concerning trouble, hardships, danger and sword, mean very much different things to us that those facing IS insurgents in Syria and Iraq, and we need to remember them whenever we can.
For us, circumstances of illness, redundancy or other economic hardships will test our relationship to God in another ways.
As Reverend Andrew White, the Vicar of Baghdad, recently said - all over the world we pray for Protection, Provision and Perseverance– to and from a loving Heavenly Father who ensures that in all circumstances we are not separated from His love.
