OUR little church was filled to capacity last Friday evening for our summer concert.
A superb selection of music, songs and poetry delivered beautifully by Jayne Swan, Martin Deer and Giles Turner.
The rain left us alone as we enjoyed drinks and nibbles after we had been entertained royally.
Our thanks to Roger for organising the event, for the ladies who contributed to the many plates of nibbles and to our wonderful organist Giles Turner who I know had a great deal to do with the choice and repertoire that delighted all.
Thanks again to Steve for the marquee.
With your help once again we have raised just over £600 towards church fund.
Don't forget our fete on the first Saturday in September.
