Tomorrow, Saturday, July 19, Bosbury’s regular Farmers’ Market and Coffee Morning will be held, between 10.30am and noon, at Bosbury Parish Hall. All the regular suppliers, offering lamb, pork and beef, seasonal vegetables, eggs, homemade preserves, cakes, bread, cheese and Liqueurs will be there. Fairtrade groceries and gifts, Phoenix cards, individual craft cards and bird food will also be on sale. Fairtrade coffee or tea, with a biscuit is £1. Entry is free.

Also tomorrow evening, Bosbury celebrates the 60’s, with food, music and pictures, from 7.30pm at the Parish Hall. There will be a Retro Buffet Super, included in the ticket price of £8. Also a licensed bar will be available. 1960’s dress would be appreciated, though not essential. If you have any 60’s memorabilia, please bring it along. On Sunday, July 20, Children’s Church will be held at 10am at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury. All are welcome.

Bosbury Educational Foundation – Charity No: 527140 – advises that any young person wishing to apply for a grant from the Foundation should do so now. The grants are for school leavers going on to further education and applicants must have lived in the parish of Bosbury for at least three years. This year they are also inviting students from Bosbury, who are pursuing a practical/vocational course to apply for the Jack Mason Grant. The grant amounts are at the discretion of the Governors of the Foundation.

Please include details of the course to be taken, plus age of applicant and time resident in Bosbury. Anyone who has had a grant and whose course is ongoing is reminded that they will need to re-apply. All applications must be in by August 31.
