By popular demand, cream teas will again be served in St James’s church each Sunday afternoon from 3pm until 5pm until the end of August.

Next item concerns the dates for this year’s car boots which are July 20, August 3, 10, 17 and 24 and start at 9am. Costs £5 for cars, £7 for cars with trailers and £10 for vans. Please park sensibly and safely whilst obeying the marshals.

The 50th Annual Welland Steam Fair, this year, will be held on the Steam Fair Site on July 25-27. All the usual attractions will be taking place including traction engines, tractor pulling, vintage military vehicles, vintage commercial vehicles, cars and motorbike, a full size steam train running on its own line, a real old time funfair, a Farmer’s Market, scale model displays and trade shows and various arena events (weather permitting). A new Attraction for this year is a thrilling aerobatic display by Jim McTaggart of the VT10 Company and stage shows this year features Scrumpy and Western Band the world famous Wurzels! It promises to be the best show ever.
