MALVERN Floral Art held their meeting on June 24 which was enjoyed by everyone attending as this was a workshop to create arrangements for the Flower Festival at St Leonards 150 anniversary .
Chairman Ann Oldfield welcomed everyone and gave a brief plan of what was required.
Christine Peer instructed the plan of the arrangements which were to hang in the Board Room, these were made mostly of foliage, cones and poppy heads and when they were finished they were nearly all identical.
The Festival will be held on July 18-21. St Leonards Church is at Newland and many beautiful flower arrangements will be in the church, cloister, library and Grand Hall.
We all enjoyed tea and cakes to finish the afternoon.
Our next meeting is on Tuesday, July 22 at Hanley Swan Village Hall at 2pm. Janet James National will be demonstrating, her theme This Colourful World.
