WELLAND Art and Crafts Group welcomed Trevor Tipple to speak at their April Meeting on the subject of Pipe Organs Past and Present.
Trevor, a choirboy in his youth, had a good view of the organ and how it was played from his seat in the choir stalls.
He was intrigued and wanted to have a go which resulted in his lifelong love and commitment to organs, their history, building, repairing and playing them - a total enthusiast.
The Groups for Needlecrafts and Papercrafts meet on their regular dates throughout the month.
The next meeting of the Group on Friday, May 9 at 7.30pm In Welland Parish Hall is a practical evening when members should bring scissors and cello tape. Visitors are always welcome.
