BOOKS with Beethoven and coffee with Chopin! What a delightful way to spend Saturday morning.

We are so grateful to Kyle Hutchings who played so beautifully for us at the Book Fair on Saturday, April 5 and he should be proud of the compliments that were made. Lots of people took the opportunity to chat and have coffee and home made cakes in our Church Café, it was lovely to see you all. It was an opportunity to listen to Kyle’s playing and browse at leisure through our very extensive stock of books, cards , CD’s and DVD’s . Our next Book Fair is on Saturday, June 28 when there will be more of the same.

But, before then we have lots of other services, events and concerts to interest all tastes.

Tonight we have the Civic Society Talk at 7.30pm The Purton Hulks – When Stephen Barnett tells the story of the historic wooden vessels. Refreshments will be served after the talk. Non members £1 entry
