Businesses from across the two counties will have the opportunity to escape the office next month and participate in new and exciting team building opportunities.

Hosted by the Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire, the Business Games on Tuesday, September 11, will provide the opportunity to network with local organisations, enjoy fun and friendly competition, boost staff morale as well as raising the profile of organisations at a local and regional level.

Open to all businesses across the two counties, organisations will enjoy non-traditional team-building and outdoor activities including raft building, archery and kayaking as well as stand up paddle boarding.

Beky Williams, head of participation at the Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire, said: “This event is our chance to facilitate exciting physical activity opportunities for local businesses, as well as making an active change to their daily routine.

"The Games are open to all employees, regardless of their ability, and are designed to showcase activities that employees may have never experienced before.

“As recent research suggests the importance of physical activity and the outdoors for positive mental health, the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Business Games provide the perfect opportunity to alleviate stress, reduce absenteeism and boost company morale.”

The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Business Games is due to take place at Lakeside Campus (formerly Top Barn) on Tuesday, September 11, from 4.15pm.
