A WORCESTER energy consultancy firm has been nominated for a prestigious award.

E2 Services, based at Ball Mill Top business park in Hallow, specialises in supporting its clients reduce their utilities costs, through reducing their price and usage.

The firm has been shortlisted for an accolade in The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCA), which are one of the main awards for the industry. E2 has been nominated in the Best Energy Solution category, but faces tough competition from other national firms.

The firm's staff are set to discover if they have won the award at a London ceremony on June 28. It is not the first national nomination for the firm, having previously won an accolade in The Energy Awards in 2014. Among E2's noteworthy clients are Microsoft and The Savoy.

Mike Stafford, energy services director, said: “We have a core of very dedicated and passionate people, and I’m delighted we’re getting national recognition. We’re always looking for new and innovative ways in which to drive down our clients’ energy costs, so they can spend money on the important things like investing in the future. This award underlines the huge success we’ve enjoyed in that regard this year.”
