A HOME improvement agency based in the county is encouraging groups to sign up for free visits providing information on home adaptations and repairs.
Care and Repair Worcestershire, a home improvement agency and part of city-based Fortis Living, has launched a campaign to raise awareness of its services.
The agency provides information to homeowners, tenants renting privately and social housing tenants regarding changes and repairs to their homes. This help can range from delivering major modifications, as well as more routine work around accessible bathrooms, ramps or stairlifts, for those people most in need, to offering advice and recommendations to people who need reliable professionals to carry out work.
Representatives from Care and Repair Worcestershire already attend regular groups organised by the Worcestershire Carers Association and Age UK Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Kate Curran, manager at Care and Repair Worcestershire, said: “We are keen to extend our reach and meet as many local groups where members may benefit from the work we do. We would like to encourage groups to arrange a visit."
To book a visit call Heather Daniel, from the agency, on 01684 579456.
