A WORCESTERSHIRE firm has been recognised with an award for best small new housing development.
MSquared Homes, a partnership between Matthews Construction and McMinn Developments, has been awarded a highly commended for best small new housing development at the LABC Regional Building Excellence Awards.
The award was for Symphony Grove, in Lower Broadheath, Worcester.
Matthews Construction is a family owned and run multi-award-winning company that was established in 2004, while McMinn Developments is renowned for creating some of the most prominent pieces of architecture in the county.
The LABC awards are designed to highlight some of the high quality work building and design teams are producing, in spite of difficult technical or construction issues and constraints they've encountered along the way, and acknowledge the professionalism they've shown towards the building regulations.
Paul Everall, LABC chief executive, said: “Our awards are an opportunity for the industry to celebrate good practice.
More than 400 professionals attended this year's award ceremony, held in Bristol.
