A SUCCESSFUL Pershore business has expanded by opening a second showroom.

Chris Muratore-Sherriff originally opened Memory Lane Memorials two years ago and the business has continued to grow as a family-run firm.

Mr Muratore-Sherriff has been a monumental mason for more than 30 years, while wife, Anna, was a principal funeral director at Philip Tomlins Funeral Directors in Evesham, who are now owned by the Co-op.

After working there for 14 years she resigned the position to join the family firm, based in Pershore High Street, full time.

Earlier this month the firm opened a second show room in Bromyard.

Mrs Muratore-Sherriff said: "We pride ourselves in being an independent family business.

"Between us we have over 45 years’ experience in serving bereaved families.

"We believe in offering families an excellent level of customer service, paying attention to detail at all times and offering high quality memorial products, as we believe in only using the best possible quality stone and granite.

"We are able to provide both bespoke and standard memorials to suit all budgets.

"Our show rooms are designed to be relaxed and welcoming to try and help families at a very difficult time."
