WORCESTER-based central heating boiler manufacturer, Worcester Bosch, has held its 16th annual E2020 Awards.

The awards were originally established to celebrate the nation’s champions of efficient and renewable technologies.

Winners were revealed by special guest, Mike Foster, former Worcester MP and now CEO, Energy and Utilities Alliance, at a ceremony held at Spring Grove House, in the grounds of the West Midlands Safari Park.

Winners were for solar installation - Scott Baker Plumbing and Heating Ltd, for ground source heat pump installation P A Curruthers Ltd, for total system solution Stephen Harris Plumbing Ltd, for gas boiler installation KR Plumbing and Heating, for oil boiler installation Vaughan Maule Plumbing and Heating, for light commercial installation Robert Heath and social housing project Walsall Housing Group.

Alongside the awards, youngsters also entered an ongoing E2020 Art Competition.

Receiving awards at the event were three talented young artists who had each created a piece of art or photography to reflect the theme 'the environment and the home'.

Chloe Parker, Izarrah Hoque and Catherine Ritchie, were the winners of their age categories, receiving £500 of shopping and leisure vouchers.

"The E2020 awards are our chance to celebrate this commitment and share best practice across the industry.
