THE Apprentices in Business networking events, aimed at apprentices and young professionals, are now to be delivered by Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.

Aimed at young people aged 18-24, the initiative began in 2013 and has been going from strength to strength through the efforts of Isla Buchanan of ESP Ltd, Jennifer Appleton of ISO Quality Services Ltd, Judith Bennett of Britannia Bennetts Removals and Sharon Chance of Quality Solicitors Parkinson Wright.

Chamber chief executive Mike Ashton said: "The Chamber believes apprenticeships are a vital way to enhance both the local economy and the younger generation and are excited to take on this fantastic project to support young professionals across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. AiB is a free event which takes place on the last Wednesday of every other month to inspire young professionals to network with other apprentices and local businesses. Each event will have a relevant theme and speaker to motivate and develop individuals in their careers."

The first event organised by Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce will take place at Worcestershire County Cricket Club on Wednesday January 25. To book a free place, contact AiB@hwchamber.co.uk
