PRIYA Tromans of Harrison Clark Rickerbys is the new president of Worcestershire Law Society. She has taken over from Kevin Joynes and will serve a one-year term.
Mrs Tromans, who is a solicitor advocate at HCR specialising in disputes in the healthcare and education sectors, said: “I am delighted to chair such a well-established and respected law society. This year we aim to forge further links both with neighbouring law societies and local businesses. I very much look forward to our events for the year ahead. The next social event will be the ‘End of Summer Party’ which is always very well attended by representatives from local businesses.”
Shortlisted by the Solicitors Journal for this year’s Rising Star award, Mrs Tromans has had experience of two careers. She trained as a doctor before her interest in law took over and she retrained as a lawyer.
