COMMERCIAL property specialists Harris Lamb has appointed Suzi Marshall to aid its recoveries team based in St Mary's Street, Worcester.

Miss Marshall, who has spent he last 18 months at TSR in Shropshire specialising in valuation, agency and management work, will help the team with its expanding workload, dealing with distressed properties across England and Wales.

Richard Fantham, director of Harris Lamb, said: "Suzi's appointment to the team is a real strengthening of our business line. Our recoveries team currently oversees a number of projects and her expertise in dealing with distressed properties throughout England and Wales will be a massive asset to our offering and enable us to increase capacity within the sector.

"Suzi is well respected and her knowledge within the asset management field is exemplary. She has a proven track record for facilitating the valuation and sale of a mix of property assets for lenders in order to maximise value and return to the client, something that will enable Harris Lamb to develop its service further still in 2016."

Last year marked the strongest year of trading for the property consultancy since its launch in 1992. The national business, which services the whole of the UK from its offices in Worcester, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent and London, recorded its highest the business to date and director Andrew Lamb said: “2015 closed with a flourish for us, with a number of investment acquisitions, including 3 Kings Court in Worcester, some great disposal instructions, residential land sales including that of eight acres in Salford Priors to Bovis Homes and regular instructions from our client-base resulting in a record year with fee income up again to beat 2014’s previous all-time high."
