A WORCESTERSHIRE commercial property consultancy and chartered surveyors has unveiled substantial growth plans on the eve of its fifth birthday.

GJS Dillon, which has offices in Worcester and Bromsgrove, aims to grow its management, as well as its building surveying and valuation departments, to take advantage of the improving commercial property market in the county.

Partner John Dillon, who founded the business in October 2010, said this will mean a substantial investment in both new and existing staff. He added: "We have an intensive training programme for our people at all levels, including a modern apprentice who we recruited earlier this year. We are also looking to recruit good people who would benefit from working in a more relaxed yet hard working office environment in Worcestershire.”

In the past five years GJS Dillon has grown from two to nine staff, merging with two commercial property consultancies to bring in new partners and areas of expertise, to provide a comprehensive commercial property service with coverage throughout Worcestershire and along the M5 and A38 corridors.

Mr Dillon said: "The commercial property market in Worcestershire continues to strengthen, so now is a good time for us to invest. But we can only do this with the continuing support of our staff and clients. The core values and building blocks that are now in place will allow the sustainable growth of GJS Dillon over the next five years and beyond.”
