WORCESTER-based chartered accountants Nicklin LLP has made the finals of the 2020 Innovation Awards for the second year running in a category it won in 2014.

Organised by the 2020 Group, the UK’s largest voluntary membership organisation for accountancy firms, the awards mark success and achievement across the accounting profession with a particular emphasis on innovation and creativity.

Nicklin, which has an office in The Tything, has been shortlisted in the most innovative large firm category, which it topped last year. This considers how firms have added value, won new clients, improved its competitive advantage and improved client focus.

Harvey Owen, Nicklin's managing partner, said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for these awards one again. They recognise outstanding innovation among the UK’s accountancy profession so to get this far is a great achievement. I would like to thank everyone at Nicklin because this shortlisting is a testament to their hard work and dedication.”

Nicklin will learn if it has been successful this year in a ceremony that takes place during the organisation’s annual conference at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on Friday, October 16.
