THOUGHTS went back to the 1990s when organiser Julia Williams turned up in her Spice Girls' Union Jack dress for Worcester Ambassadors' quiz night.
Only slightly longer than the Ginger Spice version, and just as effective, it helped the Ambassadors raise £2,000 at the Blast from the Past event at Worcestershire County Cricket Club in New Road, Worcester.
A total of 34 teams of four from county businesses including SME Solicitors, Peach Recruitment and Handelsbanken competed against each other with the winners being Droitwich accountants Ormerod Rutter.
Worcestershire Ambassadors chairman Vince Hopkins said: “This event brought together Worcestershire teams, offering a fun atmosphere while raising a fantastic sum in just one night for our chosen charities. The large amount of teams really made a great atmosphere for the event, bringing together the community in an extremely positive way.”
