WORCESTERSHIRE Cricket Board, the local governing body for the game, has announced two new part time positions.
Kevin Drew, a senior solicitor with law firm Clark Brookes Turner Cary, has taken on the volunteer role of legal director, and Giles Cross, who works for international wealth management and financial services business Sanlam, becomes PR and marketing director.
Mr Drew said: “Cricket is a passion for both of us so it is a pleasure to be of further service. I was involved in changing the structure of the board from a members club to a company limited by guarantee, as required by the England and Wales Cricket Board. Cricket though steeped in history has to constantly evolve and it was felt this new position would be a useful addition.”
