A FAMILY owned caravan park near Tenbury Wells is marking 30 years in business by investing more than £200,000 in new holiday home caravans for 2015.
The seven new models, supplied by Salop Leisure in Stourport on Severn, all have central heating, double glazing and two bedrooms and will provide comfortable holiday accommodation for families or groups of up to four people. They will all be sited with a deck and car parking alongside. Deliveries are expected in January and
February.
Brian and Sandra Griffiths and their son John operate two caravan parks near Tenbury, Wigley Orchard Caravan Park in Stoke Bliss and St Michaels Caravan Park in St Michaels. They partner Hoseasons in selling self-catering family holidays between March and October.
Brian Griffiths said: "We are competing for business with a huge variety of UK operators as well as holidays abroad so it’s essential to maintain the quality of our accommodation at the highest possible standard. These new models will help us attract more holiday visitors into the area. In 2014 we sold over 500 family holidays and we aim to better that figure in 2015.
This will be our 30th year at Wigley Orchard so we decided to mark the anniversary with this big investment to best provide for the business into our fourth decade.”
