STAFF at heating experts Worcester,Bosch Group have proved they don't only keep homes warm, but they're warm hearted too,

The company from Cotswold Way, which makes award winning central heating boilers, has raised more than £6,500 for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Staff from the children’s charity were invited to company headquarters to receive the donation presented by Carl Arntzen, managing director of Worcester, Bosch Group.

The money has been fundraised through a variety of initiatives, including raffles, fancy dress days and sponsored events.

Mr Arntzen said: "We are thrilled with the generosity of the staff at Worcester who always put everything into fundraising efforts. We hope the donation goes a long way towards helping Acorns supply much needed care for the region’s children.”

Laura Richards, corporate fundraising officer at Acorns, added: “This donation is a fantastic amount and underlines the continued generous support from Worcester, Bosch Group.

“I’d like to thank the kind-hearted staff. It costs £7,500 per day to run our Worcester hospice so these funds will go a long way to help us continue our work.”
