IT'S Big Smiles time at Malvern dental practice Beacon DentalCare, which has been shortlisted for five categories the Private Dentistry Awards.

This is the seventh year running Beacon has made the finals of the industry awards and has been listed for best treatment of nervous patients, best team, best employer, best charity and community project and practice of the year- south.

Karen Sutton, co-owning dentist of Beacon DentalCare, said: "We are thrilled to have been shortlisted again for these industry leading awards, especially for our community project, the Beacon Shining Light Awards. We are really trying to do something different with this and recognise the people in our local community who give their time to help others. It’s such an honour to have been shortlisted for this award in recognition of the Shining Light awards project."

Sue Field, practice manager, added: "We are specially looking to recognise people who go above and beyond to help others, this could be with animals, in healthcare or children. Everyone knows someone who gives of their time and energy without seeking reward. The Shining Lights awards is a great way to say thank you."
