TWO new relationship directors have been appointed by Barclays bank in Worcestershire.

Alex Mcintosh and Carl Perry join Barclays mid-Corporate team in Worcester and will have responsibility for a portfolio of clients with a turnover in excess of £5m, although working closely with other parts of the Barclays Group to ensure clients receive a consistent service.

The appointments are promotions for both, as they have been working for Barclays within the business banking and corporate banking sector for the last six years.

Mr Mcintosh said: "I am pleased to have been given the opportunity to join the Worcester corporate banking team based above the branch on High Street. I am looking forward to having my own portfolio of clients and helping them to realise their business goals and ambitions. This is a varied and diverse economic geography and I look forward to playing my part in supporting and developing the local economies.”
