Local choirs plan Italy trip

TWO local choirs will be hoping to put themselves on the map this summer when they perform in Italy.

Bromyard Choral Society and Cradley Singers will give a concert at the Church of Ascension on the shore of Lake Como, in Cadenabbia.

The eight-day trip is being organised by David Kemp, head of music at Queen Elizabeth Humanities College, in Bromyard.

It will also take in visits to Verona, Milan and Venice.

Mr Kemp said: "We have over 40 singers taking part and will be staying at a lovely Edwardian style hotel on the lake side.”
