A LOCAL man was taken to hospital after his car rolled over following a collision at Bringsty Common, just outside Bromyard, on Friday evening (October 31).
Two ambulances and a BASICS Emergency Doctor were sent to the scene just before 7.10pm where they found the two vehicles and an injured man and woman.
West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman, Murray MacGregor, said: “When crews arrived they found one car that had rolled over and the other had front end damage.
“The driver of the car that rolled was a man estimated to be in his 20s and came from the local area. He was trapped in the vehicle for a short period while fire and ambulance crews worked to free him.
“He had suffered cuts and grazes and was immobilised using a neck collar and spinal board as a precaution.
“The woman in the other car had a foot injury. Both were taken by ambulance to Hereford County Hospital.
“The doctor described both as having been very lucky not to have suffered far more serious injuries.”
