A RIP roaring and foot stomping evening of live music is set to conclude Diamond Jubilee celebrations in a village near Ledbury.

Dymock Festival, which runs from Saturday and Sunday, June 2-3, presents the finale concert from 7-11pm on the Sunday at The Pound, the home of Dymock Cricket Club.

Headliners are Carny Villains, a six-piece show band play swing-ska and circus music via a blend of guitar, drums, double bass, trumpet, clarinet and fiddle, having already played the likes of Glastonbury and Bristol’s Harbourside Festival.

Formed to be the house band with The Invisible Circus, they promise a raucous live show channelling the energy of punk rock and the art of theatre.

Support comes from The Ripcords, who will cover some legendary rock territory on stage, with the Foo Fighters, Killers, Blondie and Queens of The Stone Age all getting a nod.

The Blast will play an acoustic set of Bob Dylan and Neil Young numbers in the bar and food and drink stalls can be found on The Crease.

Tickets are £13 for adults, £5 for under-16s and £30 for a family ticket (two adults and two children).

They can be purchased from the village’s Beauchamp Arms and Wellhouse Garage.
