A HIGH-energy act who put a smile on the face of Simon Cowell will be hoping to do the same for an audience at Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall.

The Jive Aces swing into action tomorrow from 8pm having recently made progress on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent with a lively performance of I Wanna Be like You from The Jungle Book which Cowell declared “absolutely brilliant” and received the vote of approval from fellow judges Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

The sextet from London is internationally renowned for their high-energy jump jive music, the sound where swing meets rhythm and blues, and play songs made famous by such greats as Louis Armstrong and Sammy Davis Jnr, as well as their own originals.

Originally drawn together by their love of hot jive that had the beat, energy and enthusiasm of rock ‘n’ roll and the fun and rhythm of big band swing all rolled into one they have gone on to work with Van Morrison, Kenny Ball and John Travolta.

The eye-catching group may also be familiar due to several other TV and radio appearances, including Louis Spence's Showbusiness and Come Dine With Me - Royal Wedding Special.
