THE architect who designed All Saints Church, Malvern Wells, is the subject of a talk being held there tomorrow (Saturday).
The talk, being given by Dr Jim Berrow, will be discussing Troyte Griffith and his friendship with Elgar.
He will also talk about the church’s organ, which is being restored thanks to a £40,200 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Dr Berrow was an executive producer of music and arts programmes for a major broadcaster and produced Hope and Glory, a documentary on the life and work of Elgar.
The free lecture is at 3pm and will be followed by tea.
