We need sponsors for our run

ACORNS Children’s Hospice is appealing for local companies to sponsor the seventh annual Triple Run in Malvern later this year.

More than 1,000 runners will take part in the major fundraising event on Sunday, June 24, at the Three Counties showground to raise funds for the local charity.

The Triple Run allows participants to choose their distance – a 1km wheelchair-friendly fun run, 5km fun run or a halfmarathon.

Opportunities are available to sponsor a particular run or the whole event, starting from as little as £500. In return, sponsors will receive possible benefits including branding on marketing materials and web pages, product placement and branding at the event, company logo on the event medal ribbons and literature in participant event packs.

Several local companies and organisations including Malvern Splash leisure centre, Foresters in Wyre Forest, Cotteswold Dairy of Tewkesbury and Rybrook Worcester BMW, have already pledged support but Acorns still needs more.

Kerrie Davies at Acorns said: “Support from local companies and organisations is key for us to be able to make this event a fundraising success.”
