There's no 'batter' way to do your bit than a pancake race

MALVERN Rotary is issuing a final call for entries for its annual pancake race in Priory Park in two weeks.

The event is on Tuesday, February 14, and organisers have already seen an increase in the numbers signing up after changing the way proceeds from the event are allocated.

This year, charities that take part will be able to keep all their sponsorship money.

Non-charity teams can half their proceeds to a cause of their choice, and the rest to Rotary.

The event opens with a toddlers’ race at 11.30am, and adults races starting at about 12.30pm.

The event is sponsored by Waitrose and refreshments and pancakes will be available in the Malvern Theatres restaurant.

The closing date for applications is Friday, February 10.
