STUDENTS at Queen Elizabeth Humanities College have tasted early success in their GCSEs.
Of those sitting early entry exams at the Bromyard school, 60 per cent achieved C grades and above in English and mathematics.
Among those with promising results are brother and sister Jacques and Danielle Brunsdon, in year 11 and nine respectively, who gained passes in Dutch and Africaans.
Jacques, who is also deputy head boy, said: “It is good the school has provided us with the opportunity to take these additional languages. We also study French and Latin.”
Assistant headteacher David Kemp said: “We’re so pleased our current year 11s are on course to achieve the level of success that our last group gained. They are expected to make further progress in June.
