THE Three Counties Showground was transformed into a haven for petrolheads at the weekend.

The 10th Malvern Drive In Classic Car and Bike Autojumble took place on Sunday and saw the Wye Hall filled with about 1,500 visitors browsing up to 80 trade and autojumble stands selling second-hand spares, specialist parts and services to cater for any winter restoration project.

Organiser Andrew Greenwood, of Classicshows, said: “It was terrific. They are there to give the enthusiasts somewhere to go and meet their mates while they are doing their cars.

“The facility is fantastic, we can do big sets, people can spread out and they know they are not going to get wet.”

Classicshows return over the Easter weekend with the 28th Malvern Classic Bike Show and Jumble on Sunday, April 8, and the 14th Malvern Classic Car Show and Autojumble, complete with a classic Ford day, on Monday, April 9.
