CHARITIES got the chance to raise funds and showcase their services as the annual Community Action Fair was held in the York Hall at Malvern St James on Saturday (November 19).
The fair is an annual event that hosts stalls from a large range of charities and voluntary groups, both local and national.
Actor Simon Callow was the guest of honour, opening the fair and awarding the prize for the best-dressed stall to Seeds for Life.
Mr Callow later called in on the Christmas Fair at Christ Church, in Avenue Road.
The fair has been hailed a great success, raising £900 for church funds. Spokesman Jill Budd said: “A lot of people worked hard to make the weekend the success it was, but none more so than Ken and Anne Johnson and Allan and Angela Green.”
