AS breakfast tables go the Worcestershire Beacon certainly provides stunning views and a bracing walk to build up an appetite.
That’s what members of Transition Malvern Hills’ breakfast on the Beacon group find with their early morning monthly get togethers. They took to the hills yesterday (Thursday, September 22), meeting at the summit at 9am to enjoy a bite to eat and a healthy stretch of the legs.
Nathan Burlton, of the group, said: “The idea was just to have a fun and sociable occasion and being environmentally friendly we like to walk.
“It’s about getting out there and enjoying the countryside, the exercise in getting up there and having an early morning stroll.”
