MACMILLAN Cancer Support is looking for fund-raisers to serve up a brew and raise money for its valuable work.
The charity has officially launched its 2011 World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign and now wants people to sign up to organise their own events.
The fund-raiser has always been well supported in and around Malvern, with many residents and businesses inviting people in to enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat in support of a good cause.
Fund-raisers from Macmillan met with local residents during the official launch, which took place in Upton’s White Lion hotel on Friday (August 19).
Macmillan volunteer Helen Morgan said: “Some people hold just a small event with friends, while others go all out and organise a big community party. Every pound raised matters so we really hope even more people will sign up to hold a coffee morning this year.”
