X Factor runner-up Cher Lloyd has signed a record deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation label.
Despite having already recorded a song with Will.i.Am - who she sang a duet with in the X Factor final - Cher decided to accept a bid from Roc Nation following plenty of interest from several labels.
A source said: "After weighing up the pros and cons, it was thought that the team at Roc Nation would be best placed to turn her dreams of stardom into a reality."
Roc Nation already look after Will Smith's daughter, Willow Smith, who shot to fame with her single Whip My Hair.
But Cher could still be set to release the song she recorded with Will, if his recent tweets are anything to go by.
He told the world: "When should we release the song we recorded in london??? (It’s a smasher). The day after the last xfactor… cher lloyd and I went in the studio and made a mega smasher."
