A TRUE literary heavyweight will be gracing Malvern Writers’ Circle with her presence at the group’s autumn dinner this October.
Ruth Padel, a poet, critic and novelist, will be the guest speaker on Thursday, October 21 in the entertainment complex at Malvern College.
The writer, responsible for seven poetry collections as well as non-fiction books on everything from tiger conservation to her great, great grandfather Charles Darwin, has won numerous awards and is a fellow of both the Royal Society of Literature, the Zoological Society and a member of the Bombay Natural History Society.
