Tickets go on sale for popular shows

TICKETS have gone on sale for the popular Voices and Visions arts showcases at Malvern Theatres next month.

The events, organised by Worcestershire County Council's arts education division, provide an opportunity for children and young people across the county to perform, exhibit and celebrate their achievements of the past year.

The three evenings are a music showcase on Wednesday, July 7, performing arts showcase on Thursday, July 8, and a dance showcase on Friday, July 9.

A free art exhibition in the cloisters of Worcester cathedral, which opened last week, will be open until Sunday, June 27. The exhibition is open from 7.30am to 6.30pm.

The exhibition showcases a variety of exciting individual and collaborative art projects by children of all ages, including photography, sculptures, textiles, graphics, drawing, painting and mixed media.

Tickets for the showcases (£7 or £5 concessions) will be on sale from Malvern Theatres Box Office on 01684 892277 or at www.malvern-theatres.co.uk. All events start at 7.30pm.
