AN Ofsted report brought smiles to the faces of staff and children at a Leigh Sinton playgroup.
Villages Childcare, based in Leigh and Bransford Memorial Hall, received ‘outstanding’ praise in many inspection categories and an overall rating of ‘good’.
Owner and manager Katie Wiggins said: “For a little village playgroup something like that is worth celebrating.”
An inspector visited the group in March and found children made “excellent progress because the staff provide interesting and innovative play opportunities both indoors and outside”.
