Desire Petroleum engaged in exploratory drilling off Falklands

DESIRE Petroleum, based in Mathon, will find out at the end of this month whether it has struck oil off the Falkland Islands.
The company is currently engaged in an exploratory drilling programme aimed at a predicted 60 billion barrels of oil under the territorial waters of the islands.
Spokesman Ben Willey said: “As far as I’m aware everything is going to plan.”
