GREEN Party parliamentary candidate Malcolm Victory, of Malvern Wells, will be visiting Parliament on Monday (March 8) to support a campaign on animal welfare.
Mr Victory is attending a dinner hosted by MP Bob Russell for Vote Cruelty Free, which lobbies for improvements to animal welfare in farming, fashion, sport and science.
Mr Victory has already pledged to support the campaign that challenges industrial animal rearing for food and fur, resists attempts to abandon the hunting ban, and deplores the treatment of animals for experimentation into consumer product development.

There are still companies testing consumer goods on animals, they just use overseas testing companies, most of the big chemical companies that make washing powders etc do this. It is unnecessary cruelty that remains hidden.
You can judge how civilised a nation is by how it treats its animals.
